Louie Frizzell, Born: Sep 26, 1941 (age 78) · in El Dorado, AR. An American country music singer. The younger brother of country music legend Lefty Frizzell. His career started in the late 1950s, but his biggest success came in the 1980s. Signed with Columbia Records in 1970 and finally achieved solo success, placing the single InchI Just Can't Help Believing Inch on the Billboard top-40 country charts. In 1981, he recorded his first number-one country hit, InchYou're the Reason God Made Oklahoma, Inch a duet with Shelly West and won the Academy of Country Music award for Vocal Duo of the Year in 1981 and 1982. Honkytonk Man was released on December 15, 1982 and Murder Rap starring David Frizzell was released on May 01, 1988.
